The village of Summerfield was the first community in Lakewood Ranch and set the standard for an all-inclusive Lakewood Ranch living experience. The village was originally developed in 1994 next to the Braden River. Summerfield Village offers both single-family residences and attached homes with maintenance-free living. Predominantly traditional in architectural style, sizes vary from about 1,000 sq. ft. to well over 3,000 sq. ft., offering 2 to 5 bedrooms and 1 to 3 full baths. Pricing ranges from $200s to the upper $400s.
Summerfield provides homes with all the modern day conveniences. Attached garages, screened lanais, pristine lake or natural preserve views, and pools are common throughout the community. Most older construction have been renovated to offer custom updates, including granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and new flooring throughout.
Summerfield was masterfully planned with families in mind. Centrally located within the village is Summerfield Community Park, an impressive shared space encompassing 15 acres of landscaped beauty. Residents can take their children to the playground, enjoy a family-friendly match on one of the two lighted tennis courts or baseball field, or take a leisurely stroll on the various jogging paths. The park also provides charcoal grills and a pavilion for family picnics.
Two schools are found within walking distance of Summerfield: Braden River Elementary and Middle School on River Club Boulevard.
